A.k.a. Carlos D. Almaraz
Carlos Almaraz (October 5, 1941 – December 11, 1989) was a Mexican-American artist and an early proponent of the Chicano street arts movement. He studied arts at UCLA. In 1973, he was one of four artists who formed the influential artist collective known as Los Four. In 1974, he earned an MFA from the Otis Art Institute.
