A mysterious singer, songwriter and musician who has been releasing music since the 1990s under a variety of pseudonyms (see list of aliases). He used the name Robyn Nice on his first credited appearances as the vocalist of two CDs by Louisiana psychedelic groups The Surprise Symphony and Magic Island (3). Each subsequent release has been issued on vinyl under a different name, but the sound of the man's voice and his lyrical content is unmistakable. This discog uses the Robyn Nice as a placeholder to maintain clarity and consistency and allow curious folks to see a full list of his credits. After his move to Chicago around the turn of the century he quietly distributed the Rojvi and Jim Collins full band psych albums upon which his reputation as a captivating vocalist and lyricist began to grow. Following the release of two instrumental albums (Life Lives and Zelda Rising) he continued on with a series of more stripped-down singer-songwriter records that include the Box 3LP set, Jungle Blood (a collection of acoustic piano and vocal songs), Arian Sample, Open Air Ceremony, a collection of 10 different 7"s housed in one box (Rt. 1 Box 320- A) and most recently Loose Hill and Some Day Soon. Whether or not this discog represents the full extent of the man's recordings, or only a portion, remains to be seen. More info on the fan site:
