Carlos Francisco Chang Marín, also known as Changmarín, (1922 - 2012) was a Panamanian folklorist, painter, musician, journalist, activist and writer of poetry, essays and children's literature. Changmarín wrote many songs and one of his best-known works includes the lyrics for "Tio Caimán", made famous by the Chilean group Quilapayún.
