Carnifex is a project which consists of three members from the danish hardstyle family. A. Wegeland aka Abw. C. Pedersen aka Rephex. M. Nielsen aka Squarehead Carnifex was founded by A. Wegeland and M. Nielsen. The aim was to create an even more raw and compact hardstyle sound. A sound which carried out more elements from the darker side of the hardstyle industry. A few tunes and remixes hit the stores, but the sound that they were looking for wasnt 100% in place yet. Rephex (usually a solo artist), joined forces with Carnifex, and started to help out on diffrent projects, completing the rough edges etc. The result was even better than before and was released on a 3-tracker E.P called "Carnifex meets Rephex - Groundshaker E.P". After the success, Rephex was asked to join the Carnifex project, to keep it more simple this way. Expectations are high. But Carnifex wont be the ones to dissapoint.
