Born in the island of São Miguel, Azores, Carolina Raposo is a soprano graduated in Music Teaching, singing, at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, with Larissa Savchenko, Imaculada Pacheco, Isabel Alcobia and João Lourenço. She also frequented masterclasses with Ralph Doring, Carleen Graham, Patricia Morandini, Laura Sarti, Pat McMahon, Claire Vangelisti and Michael Rhodes. As an opera soloist Carolina already performed for classical pieces like "Die Zauberflote" by W. A. Mozart, "Carmen" by G. Bizet or "Hansel und Gretel" by E. Humperdinck. In Oratorio, we can highlight performances in pieces like "Historia von der Geburt Jesu Christi" by H. Schütz; "Stabat Mater" by G. B. Pergolesi; "Litaniae de Venerabili Altaris Sacramento KV243", "Regina coeli KV108", "Missa in C KV258", "Vesperae solennes de Confessore KV339"; "Krönungsmesse" by W. A. Mozart or "Il Poema della Primavera" by A. Keil. Carolina was featured in CD recordings such as "Auto Da Fonte Dos Amores" by Carlos Clara Gomes and "Heartland" by Mário Raposo.
