Carton Sonore was created in Paris in 2008 by musician Pierre Chandeze who was playing guitar and musical saw in Top Montagne. The project began as a sketch-book influenced by lo-fi music, folklore and acoustic sounds before evolving into something more eclectic. Members of Kawaii (2), (Nit)neroc, GNG and In Bear Suits joined in 2009 for live performances and to give shape to the songs of Kind Regards From The Land Of Wander. In 2013 Carton Sonore collaborated with Marshmallow Coast on a song for the Music For Toys #5 compilation and in 2014 he released an EP with german artist Broken Jokes.
