Hardcore/Punk band from Piraeus, Greece. They started in late '92 as "Λοβοτομή" (trans. to:"Lobotomy"). 1993: Performed live for the first time at the port of Pireus. 1994: Giannis leaves the band and Lefteris takes his place as the new bassist. Then they changed their name to "Cartoons". 1996: Released their first demo tape titled "'Αλλη Μια Μέρα" (trans. to:"Another Day"), which included 5 tracks and performed many live gigs. 1997: Recorded another demo tape (without cover) with 2 songs: "Λάβαρα" and "Ανθρωπάκος" (trans. to:"Oriflammes" and "Homunculus"). This demo was distributed to many radio stations all over the country. Their last live gig was in 11th November 1997 and they disbanded after that. 2001: Vasilis, Giorgos, Lefteris and a new member, Grigoris who was only 15 years old reformed the band in order to perform an episodic live at the Univeristy of Thessaloniki and they disbanded again. 2008: 11 years after their official disbanding, Cartoons recorded a 4-track promo CD.
