Limited to 500 copies. Labels are hand stamped with casiotone logo. The version of 'seattle wash' on this 7" is the original version, not the rerecorded version that appears on the tomlab cd and lp of 'answering machine music'. Insert says: recorded jan 98 by shawn porter in his living room. mixed to DAT the following month w/ the gracious assistance of mr. doug clarke, except for #1 which was mastered direct from the 4 track tape. a lot of people deserve thank yous but i'm only going to name 5 of them. shawn, doug, mark, maria + scott. thank you. songs made up, sung + played by owen ashworth. copyright 1998 casiotone one man army write to my parents at: 2770 ohio ave redwood city, ca 94108. sorry to david for blowing out his amp. last night i dreamt that i was an exchange student in england and the girl from boyracer was, like, my host family or whatever. it was obvious that i was sort of bugging her, but i could tell she felt bad about it. she was hanging out w/ some of her friends and i was tagging along which i didn't even want to do but i didn't know where i was and i was afraid of being lost in a foreign country so i just followed them around trusting that at the end of their stroll was a hot meal and a bed. and all i honestly wanted was a nice used book store to poke around in. but i was too shy to ask where a used book store was and it was easier to walk a few paces behind and be annoying.
