The Cataracs were an American hip-hop and later "indie-pop" duo formed by David Benjamin Singer-Vine and Niles Hollowell-Dhar during their high school years in Berkeley, California. Hollowell-Dhar continued using the name for a short while after Singer-Vine left. Group is now defunct as Hollowell-Dhar has found fame through his KSHMR alias.
