A.k.a. Cate Bros. Band The Cates Gang
Rock band from Fayetteville, Arkansas, U.S. Based around twin brothers Ernest Cate and Earl Cate. They started recording as Cates Gang in 1970 releasing two albums at Metromedia Records and in 1975 Levon Helm inroduced them at Asylum Records. Their only U.S. hit in the pop charts was "Union Man" reaching No.24 in 1976. They kept on recording up to the decade of '00s.
