A.k.a. Catherine Zeta-Jones
Born to an Irish father and a Welsh mother on September 25th, 1969 in Swansea, Wales, Ms. Zeta-Jones (now hyphenated) is best known as a US-based actress. By the age of 18 she had already appeared in London's West End and came to further prominence in the British TV series "The Darling Buds of May". After briefly flirting with a musical career under the auspices of Jeff Wayne in the early 90's (even reaching the UK Top 40), her career breakthrough came with leading roles in films such as "The Phantom", "The Mask of Zorro", "Entrapment", and the critically-acclaimed "Traffic". She solidified her A-list status with an Oscar-winning performance in 2002's musical "Chicago", making good use of her previous singing and dancing experience.
