Carrie Rose Wolocko was born and raised in Detroit and its surroundings. She attended the University of Michigan, receiving a BFA with concentrations in printmaking and photography. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2002, she switched her focus to painting, featuring her work in many shows throughout the city. Carrie lives in Silverlake and works at her Equestrian District studio, which is part of Comp’ny recording studio. She freelances as a graphic designer and dabbles in background acting.
