Jittery icy synth textures dart around in directions impossible to follow, while a heavy bass drone keeps you steady. Impulse, the debut release from Ceremony For Luna plays more like a soundtrack to an 80's horror/thriller movie than it does a standalone album, but it certainly has enough power and sonic texture to. Feeling like it was pulled from John Carpenter's The Thing, this impressive debut will keep you up for numerous nights, and the song titles definitely play a part in that.
