Graduated Medicine and Conservatory, but he gave up his medical career to work as actress at revue theatre. Cezarina Moldoveanu and Gică Petrescu married in 1950 and over 34 years she was Gică Petrescu's advisor, assistant, image director, lyricist an ''guardian angel''. Gică Petrescu loved her very much and never recovered after her loss.
