Album US 2012 on TENDENCY RECORDINGS label
Electronic and Classical (Ambient, Drone, Experimental, Minimal, Modern Classical, Musique Concrète)
Recorded at Woodier Studios, Los Angeles CA February 10-13, 2012 Edited and Mixed by CM at 667 Studios, late February through late March Cover Photo by Evaldas "These pieces are examples of rhythmic improvisations using computer tones. Tones were ordered in a number of ways, or not at all and left to chance. The three selections featuring percussion were thoroughly composed while the other selections include twelve tone and serial recording techniques such as synchronization in editing and in the final mixing. This record is dedicated to Morton Subotnick and Dr. Sandra Stauffer (I was her pupil many years ago). They were responsible for creating an interactive visual graph template over a decade ago using computerized drum and keyboard sounds. Fast forward to the present day, and their innovative music program is still a great way to study the infinite number of harmonic and rhythmic possibilities from a generated matrix of computer tones."
