A Greek metal band founded in November 1990 as "Desperation Death" - name changed to Chained And Desperate in October 1991 and the first rehearsal demo "Total Destruction" released. The band played noise/grind at this time. The experimental second demo "The Day After" released in January 1992 and the style changed to electro doom. May 1994 "Greaving For The Lost Sun" demo is released and the music has become pure death/doom. The demo gets good reviews and in November the band appears on "Beyond The Grave" compilation LP. February 1995 band signs with Dark Side Records for a split CD with Order Of The Ebon Hand. This never happens and the band releases the material recorded between January and June 1995 as "Oracles From The Neitherworld" demo in November 1995. The sound has evolved to typical Greek black metal. March 1997 "Heliopolis" promo released, featuring session members from Order Of The Ebon Hand. The band negotiates an album deal with Neat Metal Records, however the deal is cancelled in February 1998. September 1998 Chained And Desperate enters the studio to record their debut album "Eleven Angles In A Circle" which is released on March 1999. The album gets good reviews. In 2000 the "Oracles From The Neitherworld" demo is re-released with the "Heliopolis" promo as bonus tracks. The band takes a three year hiatus in May 2001 due military service of Panos and George. They return in 2004 with a new line-up and start slowly working with the second album. 2010 nine songs are being recorded for the second up-coming album.
