A.k.a. Chantal Lewis Brown
Born in Paris to American parents and raised in London, Chantal’s musical heritage is grounded in soul, and expands into rock, pop and dance. Her Grandaddy was a preacher in LA; her mother and father considered ‘Genuine Article’ soul singers in the industry, having worked with the likes of Sting, the late great Joe Cocker, Eric Clapton, Elton John and Alabama 3. Graduating from The BRIT School, she has had the pleasure of singing for hundreds of thousands of people throughout Europe & Eurasia, graced some of the most acclaimed stages, festivals & studios, and worked with some very amazing & talented artists & producers. Notably Tom Dalgety, Myles Sanko, Diplo, Simian Mobile Disco, PP Arnold, Turbowolf, Geno Washington, Ville Leppanen & Jazzie B. She has a remarkable sense of feeling and emotion whenever she delivers, and ever the professional, can adapt her sound to fit into an eclectic mix of genres. Testament to this are the multiple TV & radio commercials she has lent her voice to. Constantly performing and teaching voice at Westminster Kingway College means that Chantal is constantly evolving as an artist whilst honing her skills and keeping abreast of new techniques and trends.
