Musician / Composer of World and Folk
Born 15th December 1940 - died 5th July 2015. Indian musician from Mumbai who performed in numerous Bollywood soundtrack orchestras during the sixties and seventies. Singh led a wedding band, recorded and released a number of albums of cover versions of popular songs. His album 10 Ragas to a disco beat, which was released in India in 1982 was a flop but its discovery in 2002 and re-release in early 2010 made him a star among DJs and electronica music mavens.
