Charles Bobo Shaw (born September 5, 1947, Pope, Mississippi - died January 16, 2017, St. Louis, Missouri, USA) was an American free jazz drummer. He was a founding member of the St. Louis based bands Black Artists Group and Human Arts Ensemble - both being free jazz collectives following Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM) structures. "Bobo" is a nick name.
