Charles Charamba, the massively talented gospel musician was born in 1971 in Mudzi, a remote area in the eastern district of Zimbabwe. As he grew up, Charles discovered at a very early age that his major gift lay in music. Such was boy's conspicuous talent that at primary school he was the youngest member of his school singing group. Together with his seniors' they toured many places entertaining audiences of all ages and classes. The vibrant Charles converted to Christianity in August 1988.Thus began an era which today has become a phenomenon of pronounced multitude. The man belongs to Who's Who of the country's top gospel artistes. If the fame come across the border, who would be surprised? Charles is not a fly by night musician who thrives on plucking common hymns from various denominations. A highly inspired composer in his own right, he possesses exceptional writing skills that are virtually unmatched. Previous works like 'Jehovah NdiMwari Wedu' (1995) and the album 'Tinashe Akatendeka' (1997) bear open testimony to the man's God-given prowess.
