Born in London in 1879 (London) - died on the 2th of May, 1939 (Beare Green, Surrey). Aka Prosper Morand. British arranger, composer, conductor (leader) and violinist. During his career he played in various orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic, the London Symphony and that at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden but he was particularly associated with the Henry J Wood Promenade Concerts. taking over as leader of the Queens Hall Orchestra for the 1920 summer Prom season.
