A.k.a. Karl Gaudriczek
Austrian Saxophonist, Clarinetist and band leader He was born March 12, 1895 in Vienna and died there April 15, 1978. He studied clarinet and joined the Wiener Philharmoniker in 1918. He played with them for ten years, also touring South America and other parts of the world. In 1928 he founded his own orchestra, one of Austria's first jazz bands, Jazzkapelle Charly Gaudriot.
