Rock and Pop
Chasing Deer are creating a real buzz with their catchy and upbeat pop songs, through writing, performing and living music full-time in London. With polished vocals & harmonies reminiscent of The Beatles and artistic inspiration of David Bowie, enjoy listening to Chasing Deer! The band have covered the UK and Europe over the last three years showcasing their first two EPs 'Rewriting History' and 'Moving On' in over 800 performances, including supporting festival slots for UB40, The Pigeon Detectives and Feeder. 2018 has seen sell out shows at the prestigious Hard Rock Cafe London, The Royal Shakespeare RSC Theatre and The Royal Albert Hall. The highlights of 2018 have been performing at Pride in London 2018 in Trafalgar Square, being invited to play twice at The Houses Of Parliament and being flown out to Kenya to perform at President Uhuru Kenyatta's Kenyan Music Festival. Chasing Deer's major project for 2018 has been 'Hands On' - the release of an original single, released on the last Friday of every month of 2018. The premise of the 'Hands On' project has been to raise awareness for British Sign Language, through stunning artwork of a wide selection of hands, portraying the title of each single release. This has been supported and advised by the British Deaf Association. The new selection of music explores the band’s wide range of inspiration, working with a number of producers such as Stuart Epps (Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Oasis). The songs have been recorded across the UK as well as internationally at The Amsterdam Recording Company.
