Cheap Trick is comprised of four perfectly integrated musicians. Indeed, the band a s a whole adds up to far, far more than the sum of its parts. Robin Zander, who met the band while they were bumming around Europe about five years ago, has one of those rare, slightly dry voices, so necessary for the slower songs the band play, but at the same time, really coming into its own on the fast rockers. Tom Petersson provides perfect anchor for the band's sound with his rather unusual twelve-string electric bass, giving a lighter, more pop-oriented feel to the songs.
