Recorded at Bell Sound, New York City on May 11, 12 and 13, 1969 Mastered at the Malcolm Addey Studio, New York City Cover and liner photographs © Mosaic Images Note: The alternate take of "Sundance" was transferred from an LP; no tape source could be found. 1-1, 1-3, 2-1, 2-3 were on the original "Is", released in 1969 on Solid State Records, 1-2, 1-4, 1-5 and 2-2, recorded at the same sessions were released three years later as "Sundance" on Groove Merchant. The rest are alternate takes, never released before. Bennie maupin was not credited on the original release of "Is".
