Chien-Kwan Lin (b. 1972) is an American classical saxophonist, as Assistant Professor of Saxophone at the Eastman School Of Music (since 2002). Born in Singapore, Lin received his B.M. and M.M. degrees, both with top honors, from the New England Conservatory of Music. Some of his principal teachers include Kenneth Radnofsky and Ray Ricker. Throughout his career, Chien-Kwan Lin has appeared as a soloist and guest artist with numerous prominent orchestras and ensembles, such as Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Eastman Wind Ensemble, New England Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, The United States Army Band, U.S. Navy Band, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Tanglewood Music Center Orchestra, New World Symphony Orchestra, and Eastman Philharmonia.
