He started singing at the tender age of 5, before even attending school. His father bought him a small organ when he was doing his standard 1. He had to partake in many competitions to improve his skill. He started singing in 1983 for MODULA QHOHA SCHOOL CHOIR. In 1985 he entered the "SHELL ROAD TO FAME" competition - but he failed. He entered again in 1987 and he came second. When Spokes 'H' started recording his album TAMATI "SO" he approached his to come and play keyboards for him - this album went gold. He also played keyboards for "Thiza" on his first hit album. After realising his potential, he was invited by MLUNGISI of Black Talent Music to record his own album "BLACK MAIPATILE", which he hope will also go gold, because whatever he touch seems to turn into gold. He has recorded his first album at the age of 15!"
