A.k.a. Charles Edward Halstead
After 10 years writing music and playing guitar and Hamond B-3 in several local rock band, i left the safe little down of Corning N.Y. at age 24, and moved to Los Angeles, CA.to becom a professional songwriter. Many were composed with the love, help and inspiration of some very talented collaborators. Paper Heart was released by Epic recording artist and Japanese T.V. star Kahoru. I Tough was released by Atlantic recording artist and T.V.star, Gloria Loring, adn Energy was released by Grammy-Winning MCA artist Melissa Manchester along with a full-bown MTV video. Except for Energy, what you hear are the self-produced home demos, mostly done on an eight-track analog tape recorder. Besides writing lyrics & music, i also helped arrange, engineer, mix, and master most of these songs, and played many of the keyboards, guitar, bass, percussion, and drum tracks. Also, that's me singing on Jericho, Rhythms of Love and Patty. Looking back, i'm very proud of the all hard work.
