Album AU 1967 on The Record Society label
Classical (Renaissance, Baroque)
"An H.M.V. recording, released exclusively in Australia bythe Record Society." Australian WRC pressing for the Record Society, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. The LPs are both housed in the right side of the gatefold, with the sleeve opening inside at the centre. Unusually, the back of the gatefold flap is not blank. Mono and stereo versions have identical artwork, with the same numbers on the sleeve - "RS/6234-5" on the spine, "6234-5" on the back. The mono version has "6234" and "6235" on brown 'herald' labels, while the stereo has "S-6234" and "S-6235". There is a printed "stereo" rosette on the back, and the mono has a red sticker with "mono" placed over this (though these tend to drop off with age). Later issued as a box set with Volume 3.
