Chris Keup
Songwriter/producer and owner of White Star Sound. As a writer and collaborator he has worked across a variety of genres with artists on Warner Bros., Universal, Elektra, Atlantic, Mercury, Nettwerk, Chrysalis, Ivy League, Virgin and many others. His songs have appeared in numerous TV shows and films (Grey's Anatomy, The O.C., American Idol, Jimmy Fallon, The Heartbreak Kid, One Tree Hill, Vampire Diaries, etc.) and have sold several million copies worldwide. In 2000, ASCAP presented him with the Sammy Cahn lyricist award in a Lincoln Center ceremony. His work has been showcased at the Sundance Film Festival, SXSW and numerous NYC ASCAP showcases. He has produced releases for Mercury Records, Warner Bros., Atlantic Records etc., and nearly a hundred independent projects. His development projects have gone on to sign with Epic, Mercury, Warner Bros., Or Music, Cherry Lane, Warner Chappel and many others.
