Chris is a composer, arranger and music producer and founded Mann Music in 1997, an audio production company specializing in music and sound for media. BAFTA nominated in 2001, Chris has previously composed for clients such as Aardman Animations, BBC, Warner, Sega, Universal and David Braben’s Frontier Developments. In 2012 Chris scored Walkers ‘Deep Ridged’ TV Advert which was Walkers biggest and most successful product launch to date. Other Ad campaigns include The National Lottery, Mars, Pepsi, Doritos and SpongeBob Squarepants! Recent videogame work includes Lemmings, Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot Mystery and Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions with Lucid Games/Activision for the re-launch of the Sierra indie label. In collaboration with Steve Cowell of devSound, Mann Music offers a one stop audio solution for clients. This includes sound design, post production, casting and dialogue production, videogame audio implementation and location recording. Past projects include James Bond – Bloodstone, Monsters Inc.,Toy Story 2, Battlefield 2, Kinect Sports and many notable clients include Lucas Arts, Ubisoft and The Mill. Chris has recently been a judge for both the BAFTA and Ivor Novello awards and is also an industry speaker and guest lecturer at Sheffield Hallam, Huddersfield and Chester Universities, Leeds College of Music, Red Tape Studios and Games Britannia. Together with a team of industry professionals, Chris runs Music and Sound for Media master classes, a series of interactive workshops in the art of improvising and creating soundtracks for Film, TV, videogames and digital media. Chris is also an accomplished violinist and string arranger and provides string recording and production services.
