Album US 1999 on Last Visible Dog label
Electronic (Leftfield, Abstract)
"World Without Sound was recorded in the early fall of 1996 in Lincoln, Nebraska, over the course of a couple of days. Not long afterwards, I learned that David Tudor had died, and thinking of his pioneering work in what I would call "self generating" or system music, I promptly dedicated the cassette release to him. The title comes from Brian Eno's track, Spider and I. Part one uses a roland sh-09, short wave radio and guitar. Part two uses the same synthesizer, water and breath." CDr with simple printed insert in jewel case.
