This is the first volume of a series called "Raw Field Recordings".The sonorous saturations and effects were caused by the acoustic caracteristics of the spaces I found and the microphoning method I used when I was making these field recordings between August and September of 2004 during a tour in Argentina. I did not add any effects during the editing and mastering process of the first four tracks, except for a light equalization, some minimal cuts and a selection of parts. All was taked with a Mini Disk recorder. A first version of this release was previously published as "Antiturismo : Habitacion en Buenos Aires"(O8/2010) by the Netlabel "Sudamérica Electronica". This new definitive version was re—mastered and re—titled to be published by Uzusounds.I added as a bonus track a live recording I made on March 19, 2011 in Nantes. It is an improvisation generated with an automata—sampler I programmed on Pure Data to which I added the track 04 "Metros aires" in order to have it processed by it. Edited and mastered in Lima, Mexico D.F.,Paris and Nantes at different moments between 2006 and 2011. The title is a reference to the collection of poems of Jorge Eduardo Eielson named "Habitacion en Roma" and also a reference to the bizarre experiences the poet lived in a parisian room, which motivated him to write the poem "PTYX".
