These CDs are a new iteration of the sound installation which has been located along the banks of the river Liffey in the Irish National Memorial Gardens, Islandbridge, Dublin since June 2016. The inspiration for the work was the location of the Gardens and Ireland's Memorial Records 1914-1918 listing the over 49,000 people from Irish regiments who died in the First World War. Commissioned by Goethe-Institut Irland in partnership with Dublin City Council with the support of the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, the Office of Public Works, and the Trustees of the Irish National War Memorial Garden. "Voices of Memory" was installed in the Irish National War Memorial Gardens in 2016 and will run until 2018. This CD was produced in 2017. Packaged in a six-panel laminated cardboard sleeve, including a 20-page booklet with texts and photos.
