After a year of writing acoustic songs in a shitty LA apartment, Jake Kilgore returned to his hometown (Sacramento, CA) and joined Jake Hurst in forming Chrome Ghost in the summer of 2015. Nearly a year of practicing and re-tooling those songs led to the recording of their first album CHOIR OF THE LOW SPIRITS with Patrick Hills, with additional help and guidance from the wizard known as Odamé. Soon after, local folk/punk god Cole Thompson joined as bass player and second vocalist.
