A.k.a. Jesús Chucho Rodríguez Ramírez
Jesús Chucho Rodríguez Ramírez was born on July 11, 1918 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua; sole son of the marriage between Mr. Pedro Rodríguez and Mrs. Dolores Ramírez. Chucho, as he was known in the middle, finished the career of Normalist Teacher, profession that he exercises for three consecutive years before starting, at an early age and motivated by his great love for music, in the composition. He studied at the Free School of Music of Mexico City; Learn to play piano, double bass, violin, organ and guitar. He was part of diverse musical groups, especially of tropical genre. He considers that his career as a composer began in 1942, the year from which his work began to be disseminated by the XEW. His first song is Cosas del ayer (in co-authorship with Ramón Márquez), performed by Genaro Salinas, accompanied by Son Clave de Oro, and recorded by RCA -recording company with which he signs his first contract- in the voice of Jesús Chucho Martínez Gil.
