Chuck Barris (born June 3, 1929, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - died March 21, 2017, Palisades, New York, USA) was an American game show creator, producer and host, and songwriter. He wrote the rock-n-roll hit "Palisades Park" (1962), performed by Freddy Cannon.
