Chuck Thomas And His Dixieland Band

A.k.a. Woody Herman

Short-lived dixieland band in Hollywood 1949. They recorded the two titles on the 7'' and the title 'Stompin' at the Savoy', which stayed unissued. When Woody Herman disbanded Woody Herman & The Second Herd in late 1949, the band had a second recording session in March 1950, when they recorded three more songs, 'Calico Sal', 'Jelly Bean' and 'Then you've never been blue' for Capitol Records.
