Chuck Cockerham Chuck was recruited in 1966 as lead vocalist for C C & Souls singing a cover of Leon Heywood's, “It’s Got To Be Mellow”, but he is best known for his 1969 Bell/ Mala juggernaut soul anthem “Have I Got A Right” After a brief solo career, Chuck mostly resided as a stalwart anchor member of Bill Pinkney’s Original Drifters group.
