Chuck Lawayne, better known as Amin L. Shabazz, is a multi faceted music producer based in Harlem NY. Formerly a division 1 basketball recruit in high school, LaWayne chose to focus on a career in music as his NBA dream began to fade. Upon attending Chicago State University, Chuck spent most of his time making beats in his dorm room and scouring local record stores to perfect his sound. His career began to take shape after a successful showing at the Istandard Producer showcase in 2010. Since, Lawayne has been able to produce for some of hip hop’s royalty from the likes of Craig G of the acclaimed Golden Era rap group Juice Crew and most notably G Units’s Lloyd Banks. Today, Chuck LaWayne continues to hone his craft in pursuit to being one of his generations best producers.
