Clandestine was formed in Świnoujście by the Gałda brothers, guitarist Sławomir and bassist Sebastian – who in December 1992 found lead vocalist Marcin “Bober” and drummer Bartłomiej. The band’s stage debut took place in February 13th, 1993. During the following 3 months, the band suspended activities as Sławomir had to recover from a serious accident. In June, Clandestine reunited again – in October, they entered the SL Studio in Gdynia to record their first self-titled demo, despite Marcin and Sławomir’s health problems, playing death/thrash. By early-1994, Bartłomiej left the band to have more time for his family. The rest of band members started working on new material, looking for a new drummer. Tomasz was then introduced. In 1995, Marcin presented his resignation – Sebastian then took both vocal and bass duties. In November, the group entered the SL Studio again to record the second demo, entitled Umarłe Konie, embracing a more melodic sound. A promo entitled Samotny Jednorożec was released in 1996.
