Born: 1879 Died: June 13, 1942 According to Noelani Mahoe in her compilation of songs, photographs, and text, "Ho‘āhu ‘Ana O Nā Mele," Clarence Kinney created the pineapple design on the ukulele in 1914 and made the first sectioned monkey pod dish in the 1930's. Songwriter whose compositions include "Holunape," "Aloha O‘ahu," "Nā ‘Ai ‘Ono," and other songs.
