Poet, writer, singer, writer and director born in Quebec in 1942. Wrote lyrics of some songs, most famous: Monsieur l'Indien & Lindberg. With the latter, starring Robert Charlebois and Louise Forestier, won Félix-Leclerc Prix for "Best Canadian Composition of the Year", 1969. In 1971 signed the words of a first solo album which features the music of Jean Sauvageau. In the mid-'80s returned to the song through Charlebois, feeds text for the album Super Position, 1985 giving some pop/light rock songs (C'Est Pas Physique. C'Est Electrique, L'Amour Eléphant, Donne Moi, Je Ne Pense Qu'à Toi, Jukebox, Tout Nucléaire, L'Ouvreuse and Zoo-Diac), but the album only knows limited success. Claude Péloquin died on november 25, 2018 at night at the age of 76. He had generalized cancer.
