Recorded in conjunction with the concert film. Co-produced by BBC Television, Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft mbH and West Eleven Entertainment. = Empfohlen von EvS, Ernst von Siemens Kunstfonds = The 2 CD's and the 88-page booklet are stored in a chubby 2-CD jewel case with black trays (fat case). The booklet contains notes in English, German, French and Italian, as well as a credits- and track-list. It also contains the liturgical verses (sung-texts) in original Latin and the translations to German, English and French. Cover illustration: Mosaic from the Basilica di San Marco "La cupola dell'Emanuele" (detail). This release has IFPI mould codes on the inner ring of the CD's. They weren't issued before 1994. Therefore this particular release looks like the original, but is likely from the second half of the 1990's.
