"In 2001 I released my album "VIELLEICHT WIRD ALLES GUT" as DIAMETRAL. After that far-reaching release, the solo project DIAMETRAL became a band again. In the next 2 years we played a lot of concerts and tried to create and record new songs. But meanwhile I wanted to continue my solo-work and to record a new album at home. I collected some songs and I also had a title - "MORBUS LOIK" - and a concept for the artwork. But in the very last moment I hesitated to release the album. Most of the songs went to a 2 CDr-collection of non-album-tracks that was released later in 2005. Some songs in turn became part of the album "SCHLECHTE NACHT" which was also released in 2005. One of the songs was the title song of that never released album, "MORBUS LOIK". Twelve years later I revisited the artwork for "MORBUS LOIK" and did some remixes of the eponymous song which now form the present "MORBUS LOIK EP" that is released within the context of the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of DIAMETRAL."
