Born: Aug 26, 1972 Married: Danielle Young (née Glenn) 29th Nov 1997 Caedmon's Call was formed when Cliff got together with college friend, Aaron Tate (former songwriter for the band) and (then) girlfriend, Danielle Glenn, to play worship and Rich Mullins songs. Cliff has, obviously, been with the band from the beginning, and fulfills the "frontman" role. He leads the worship at Second Baptist Church's (Houston) Logos service when he's in town. His father, Dr. Ed Young, is the head pastor there, and his brother, Ben Young, also pastors at the church. Cliff is also responsible for starting Watershed Records, a division of Essential Records that aims to promote successful independent singer/songwriters to national acclaim and is responsible for launching the careers of artists such as Andrew Peterson and Bebo Norman. He currently fulfils the A&R and Executive Producer roles for the label.
