Founded in 1973 as Climax Jazz Band (2) – a pure dixieland formation –, they opened up since then to multiple other styles like i.e swing or shuffle and even pop-rock tracks until their typical "Climax sound" emerged. In later days performing as "Climax Band Cologne" or just "Climax". Worked over the last 20 years with Jean Shy.
