Underground space-rock pioneers in the early seventies. CLOUD experimented with heavy metal, punk and electronica before returning to their psychedelic roots in the late eighties, the band announced a break for a "spiritual cleanse" in 1992. Twenty years later the original members have reformed for a series of tiny sell-out shows to try out new material, as well as some of the classics that inspired so many great bands that follow in their wake. CLOUD was a seminal Brighton-based space rock band which was very influential in its time, but whose subsequent history is shrouded in mystery. Famed for bringing in other musicians to form what they called the 'CLOUD collective' their recorded output was minimal and the few singles released on the now defunct MoguDisk record label are prized by collectors. Myths abound about the band's current activity and location. There are rumours that the principal members of CLOUD are planning a return to the music scene, but for now these are just rumours
