A.k.a. Matija Vojvodić
Matija Vojvodic is Zagreb based classically trained musician who turned his hand to electronic music and music production. He entered music school at the age of 7 and finished clarinet and saxophone at the age of 13. Self taught and played instruments like guitar, drums, synths, samplers, percussions and diy electronic instruments in various project and bands covering classical, ethno, post rock, noise, electronic, trip hop and pop genre. Matija has more than 10 years of experience in music production and sound design. His big love is soundtracks and sound effects for movies. With his solo musical project Cloudfactory, Matija was featured on online music magazine XLR8R after he was contacted directly on his soundcloud by Pitchfork and XLR8R managing director and contributor Partic Fallon. Cloudfactory music was published on several compilations and his debut album will be released in March, 2015 with a remix from Stev, Loci Records signee and Project Mooncircle contributor. He remixed past RBMA attend Davor-O and future beats producer Eufoteoria. Cloudfactory performed at various events from Desonanz Festival in national theater in Skopje, Museum of Transitory Art (MoTA) in Ljubljana, Flutlicht gallery in Berlin, Illectricity festival in Zagreb, Mooving Festival, club Mochvara, Beat the future, CFSN Sundays and many more. Cloudfactory collaborated with Hartera festival and MTV in making their smartphone TrnTrn app. He is continuously collaborating with talented visual artist Ivan Lušičić Liik on Cloudfactory AV live and together they also created interactive mapping installation „Ornament“ and series of audio visual performances „Hatch“ in French pavilion in Zagreb. Cloudfactory AV live opened for major international artists Om Unit and Jackmaster. His music was featured on Croatian National Radio Television documentary directed by Nikolina Baric, Sumolight company commercial video, Input festival promo video and various Croatian FM and Internet radio stations.
