Beginning in 2010 under alias System III, Coal Field Hotel began releasing official materiel in 2013 with an album titled "City Zero". Coal Field Hotel ranges their music from Downtempo, Ambient, experimental. Musically influenced by dated instruments and synthesizers, Coal Field Hotel has achieved a swirling mix of music around faint ambient textures and a sound that comes off as out of tune but fitted in place. 3 unknown members judging from photos and album artwork, there seems to be at least 3 as of 2015 claiming to be from Chicago Illinois, USA. All though at one point their online store listed their location from India.
